Jamila Majidli
Senior Legal Associate
Jamila is our highly skilled Senior Associate with extensive experience in corporate and competition law. Prior to joining our team, she worked at a prominent international law firm and held the position of Senior Lawyer at Azerbaijan Industrial Corporation (AIC), where she advised on a wide range of corporate and transactional matters. She has also served as a lecturer in competition law at the Academy of the State Customs Committee and continues to train legal professionals at the Legal Training Centre.
At VLM, Jamila advises domestic and international clients on complex legal matters, including antitrust, mergers and acquisitions, data protection, regulatory and licensing compliance, employment, corporate governance, and contract law. Drawing on her deep legal insight and practical experience, she delivers tailored legal solutions to clients in sectors such as FMCG, energy, fintech, construction, healthcare, insurance, and manufacturing.
Jamila is proficient in drafting customized commercial contracts, representing clients before public authorities, and navigating licensing and other administrative procedures. She also provides legal support in the registration of patents and trademarks in Azerbaijan, ensuring that clients’ intellectual property rights are protected under national legislation.
